'The Black Pearl' Candle by Maple & Whisky
"Yo ho, yo ho - a pirates life for me..."
Ever since I was little, my favourite ride has always been the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disneyland Paris. I've been obsessed with the franchise since I was about nine, when I was given all the films for Christmas.
When I heard a Etsy shop by the name of Maple and Whisky were creating Disney-inspired candles, I jumped at the chance to purchase one.
And so I did! I decided to treat myself to their newest candle, The Black Pearl.
As pictured above, I bought myself the smaller addition in the 8oz jar (larger being 12oz) for only £8.30. All candles are handmade to order, and the company gives you the option of two different wicks and waxes.
I got mine custom made with a woodwick and a paraffin soy blend wax. The paraffin soy blend wax gives the candle a really powerful fragrance which makes the musky scent even more alluring and tasteful.

This lovely candle is one of my new favourite things. The fragrance is reminiscent of the ride in Disneyland and transports me to the deck of the Black Pearl itself.
If I were you I'd head over to Maple and Whisky and pick yourself up a candle, they do so many from the smell of Mickey Waffles and Butterbeer scents to the smell of Arendale.
