Nightmare in Disneyland

I went to Disneyland on the 15th April.
As you can guess, it didn't go to plan.

Once upon a time, two girls travelled twelve hours across land and sea to the land of the French, so we may reach our destination: Disneyland Paris. After a rather hectic journey, travelling through the night in a dreary minibus, we arrived at Disneyland at 11am.

As we arrived, we stumbled upon Goofy's Garden Party and spring fever was filling our veins with excitement! We headed over to Adventureland first to become pirates on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride (one of my favourite rides!) and then met Peter Pan and Captain Hook.

This is where my memory becomes fuzzy, but I shall recall what I've seen in my vlogs. After asking Peter the exact whereabouts of Neverland and learning the trick to flying, we headed over to the Chappell Theatre to see the Forest of Enchantment (staring Merida, Pocahontas and Rapunzel)! Shortly after we found our seats for Minnie's Little Spring Train (dubbed Bunny Train) and took part in the flashmob!

From here my brain is still unable to retell most of the events, so if you wish to see what I got up to with Serenna, check out my youtube channel at www.youtube.com/ellengoesrawr7 for your need of Disney magic!

Now, I bet you're wondering, this doesn't sound too bad, why is this post named 'Nightmare in Disneyland'? Well, after a bite to eat in Bella Notte, we headed over to Buzz Lightyear's Laser Blast to get a fast pass. Before we could even use our fast pass, or do anything for that matter, I was on the floor having - what we can only describe as - a seizure.

I was quickly rushed to hospital in an ambulance (from Disneyland) after dislocating my shoulder and biting my tongue - causing it to bleed and myself to almost choke on it. Obviously I don't know the exact details as I was in a state of shock and my body had shut down partially. I can't even remember most of what I'm telling you. I woke up in hospital six hours later still feeling very dazed.

The next day we had to get the Eurostar back from Gare Du Nord, however, since missing the last train we had to sleep in a hospital waiting room a few streets away from the station and then got the second train back to England at 7am.

So yes, not exactly the holiday to remember, as I can't remember majority of it... However myself and Serenna are now safe back in England. For those wondering, I have a therapy session in June to look into what happened. At this moment we don't know if it was a one off fit or whether it was caused by epilepsy. However, all seems well and my shoulder has healed wonderfully.

Thank you to everyone at Disneyland who helped me get back on my feet and everyone at the hospital for dealing with two English girls who speak very little to no French! Massive thank you to Serenna for being by my side the entire time and ensuring nothing bad happened to me whilst I couldn't control myself. Another thank you to Anastasia, a brilliant friend at my university who offered to be a translator whilst we were stuck in France.

Until next time, tell me in the comments if you've ever had a nightmare on holiday!
