If you're reading this then I assume you've got a lovely email saying 'CONGRATULATIONS', welcoming you to your one-on-one interview at the headquarters of the Walt Disney Company in London! Before You Go! After getting the initial email, you will soon get a few more. It is important to make sure you accomplish everything prior to your interview. The first will ask you to book a time for your interview, they are usually spread over four days and you will have a chance to pick from a number of slots per day. The second will ask you to create an account on DOC (Disney Onboarding Central) where you'll be asked to state your preferences on various roles. Within this blog post, I'll be telling you my tales of attending two different Pre-Screen Interviews; being rejected and accepted. We're gonna travel back in time to September 2016, my first Pre-Screen interview. I was invited to my first pre-screen on the Tuesday 27th September 2016. The event takes place in Epping, in Essex though you can travel there on the Central Line from London. It comprised of a presentation, then a group interview. At first, we had to talk to others sat next to us, then we were asked questions specific to the program and why we're interested in it. "Yo ho, yo ho - a pirates life for me..." Ever since I was little, my favourite ride has always been the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disneyland Paris. I've been obsessed with the franchise since I was about nine, when I was given all the films for Christmas. When I heard a Etsy shop by the name of Maple and Whisky were creating Disney-inspired candles, I jumped at the chance to purchase one. And so I did! I decided to treat myself to their newest candle, The Black Pearl . As pictured above, I bought myself the smaller addition in the 8oz jar (larger being 12oz) for only £8.30. All candles are handmade to order, and the company gives you the option of two different wicks and waxes. I got mine custom made with a woodwick and a paraffin soy blend wax.
