Veganuary | Struggles Two Weeks In
Hi my lovely little dreamers!
It's a Sunday, and you know what that means... Another Veganuary update. We're officially two weeks into January, which marks two weeks without meat, fish, dairy and eggs (plus other animal produce), and as I said in my first post, I've put together five questions for future me to answer - and the time has come...

We're officially two weeks into January, which marks two weeks without meat, fish, dairy and eggs (plus other animal produce), and as I said in my first post, I've put together five questions for future me to answer - and the time has come...
How are you feeling?
I'm doing pretty good. Feeling better than ever really. I'm drinking more water, eating more fruit, doing more exercise!
What is the food you miss the most, and why?
I definitely miss being able to grab chocolate from the cupboard or a corner shop. I really have a limit to what I can snack on, but then again it makes me a happier and healthier me! But what I have learnt is that for every non-vegan food, there will always been a vegan alternative!

What’s your new favourite food that you’ve recently discovered?
Ever since going vegan, it's like I've been teleported to a whole new world of food! I'm using more food than ever before. If I had to pick a few I'd say chia seeds, quinoa and sesame seeds! Ooh and vegan cheese!
Do you think you can keep this up for another two weeks?
Oh definitely! I've stocked up on soya milk for the next month and half! I don't really miss cheese, there's so many vegan substitutes and I feel like I'm eating so much good food! The only struggle I've found is eating out, it does put a limit on what I can eat however I've successful eaten out at Taco Bell and Handmade Burger Co, and soon Yo! Sushi!

If you had to give one tip to another person who wants to go vegan, what would it be?
JUST DO IT! I know it may seem scary, but as long as you do your research and check the ingredients of certain foods, you'll find many things are vegan. And I know, who could give up cheese? But there's plenty of cruelty free cheese to go around!
I have enjoyed the last two weeks a lot, and I look forward to see what the future has in store! I'm welcoming any questions, so leave them down below or tweet me at my Twitter and I'll reply as soon as possible.
I just wanted to say, I know the word 'vegan' has a lot of stigma to those who eat meat and dairy as many vegans can be what I like to call 'bashers' which is essentially people to annoy others by saying eating meat or dairy is wrong. I am not one of these people. I have been a meat eater, I've been a vegetarian, and I'm now a vegan.
That's it for this week, but I'll catch you all next Sunday for a post all about my favourite meals!
