Disneyland Planning #1
Back in February 2016 I founded the Roehampton Disney Society. As a first year this was a massive event for me. A year on and I’m now planning the biggest society event we’ve done. That is, of course, Disneyland Paris.
As this year will be my final as President of the society, I wanted to go out with a bang, and I can’t think of a better way than Disneyland. However, with a big trip, comes big responsibility. I’ve had to fill in risk assessment forms, make health and safety forms, and a lot of emails.
We’ve got our hearts set on this one company, and we’re awaiting the final costs of our trip before forwarding it out to students of the society.
What we’ve got planned in three days of magic. On the first, we will travel via Eurostar to Disney, explore and adventure to our heart’s content, before having a meal together, then watching the night time show. The second, very similar to the first, except MORE! And in the evening, we will retire early for group drinks and celebrations together. Then our last day, after having a well deserved breakfast, we’ll adventure onwards into the park before heading home in the evening.
Things you can expect from this little blog series is all the stresses I’ll be going through. Fun, huh?!
Naah. I mean, it will be stressful, but I’m excited to plan my biggest trip ever. For someone with an interest in events planning, I’m super excited. SO EXCITED! We’ll be covering things like planning meals for all including those with dietary deficiencies, specific diets and keeping the costs down.
This will just be my way of keeping on track of things, and documenting my process.
Of course, as always if you have any questions, you can ask me in the comments or head over to one of my many social mediums.
See you Sunday,
~ Ellen ~
