A Tale of Heroes vs. Villains
Fairytales are stories about heroes and villains.
Stories about good triumphing over the evil forces against them.
Although this world certainly is not a fairytale, and the villains in our world cannot turn into dragons and poison us with apples or spindles of spinning wheels, this is definitely a tale of heroes and villains.

I have had my share of battles with the cruel and wicked humans of the earth, sadly they shall not be the last. Unlike in fairytales, despite every battle and every chance to ride off into the sunset and live happily, it's not for ever after. There will be plenty more battles I must face and plenty more dragons I must slay. It's a simple tale of life.
I am going to tell you a tale of one of my most recent, and most tragic, battles. One of which I loved yet sadly lost. Although this tale may seem sad, I promise it has left me in a happier place. A happier place of which I can continue life and live life as I choose.

There once were two peasant girls - myself being one - who had been friends for almost a decade. All was joyous and wonderful between the two, until a storm hit. This storm lasted for months and damaged the two girl's friendship. Despite the differences that the storm had caused, the two friends stuck together. However, one day a prince came along and swept one of the girls off her feet - that girl was me - and all seemed wonderful. Until the prince that had swept poor girl off her feet transformed back into the slimy frog he once was. The poor girl was left heart broken and upset. In desperation and hope, the broken hearted peasant girl turned to her friend for support. However pity was barely shown upon the poor broken hearted girl from her friend.
The poor peasant girl, broken hearted and alone, wanted to feel better. She battled like Mulan. She was brave like Merida. She healed herself like Rapunzel. Turning to those who supported her and those who made her happy. After a long battle, the peasant girl was transformed into a princess. She lived life happily, being kind and caring to all whom she met.
Months after the princess was hurt by the frog and abandoned by her friend, tales came out about how the person she called a "friend" really wasn't actually a friend after all. Unlike the princess, this peasant girl had turned sour in her anger and jealously, she became a villain in the princess' story. Twisting tales and forming lies, all to turn people to her side.
The princess, however, was brave and strong at heart. Despite being hurt by who once she called a "friend", she pushed pass the hate and betrayal, until she could no longer take it. One day, the princess decided that the decade of smiles and laughter had come to a close. A chapter was finishing for this friendship, and - instead of turning soul like her once "friend" - so she used the magical pixie dust and travelled to a new book filled with new adventures and horizons to explore.

Our lives aren't structured to have a introduction with a tragic backstory, followed by set up for the big confrontation and final resolution, it's a lot more complicated than that. Life isn't going to be easy, there will be dragons in your way and poison apples thrown at you, but you are the hero of your story and you can do this.
The best advice I can give to you, is to stand up for yourself and stand up for what is right. It will be difficult, and you will be scared, but it's better than living in an attic all your life. If someone you care about is making you feel like this, you need to call them out on it - otherwise it'll only get worse - and if they continue, it may be time to use your pixie dust and find a new story.
I know you may have doubts whether you are the hero or the villain in this story, but if your heart is in the right place and you "have courage and be kind" you will most certainly get your happily ever after.
If you're ever feeling down, just remember that you're simply a Disney Princess who is going through the sad part of your blockbuster film and soon enough the sun will shine again.
