A Little London Adventure
On Saturday 11th July at 8:40am, I boarded onto a coach in my little town in the middle of the English countryside. When I stepped off that coach, I was far from a little town in the countryside. Only two hours away from home, I was in one of the most artistic and iconic cities in the world. London.
It's not often I leave the safety of my little town - or my laptop, to be completely honest with you - but this day I had adventured to London alongside one of my best friends (Zehra) for a day of adventures.
~ HYPER JAPAN ~
The main point of interest for our little adventure was the HYPER JAPAN Festival located at the O2 Arena in London. We arrived there at midday, just after the opening rush, and spent three hours looking around, admiring the Japanese culture that had taken over the O2.
I'll admit, I may have gone a little overboard on the shopping... So you can expect a HYPER JAPAN Haul video coming to a YouTube Subscription box near you! (Oh, you didn't know? I make YouTube videos, and if you'd like to see them simply click here!)
"It's not an adventure if everything goes to plan."
That was my excuse which lead us to travelling far and wide via the tube, and maybe - accidentally - getting on the wrong tube and going in the opposite direction that we need to be going in...
Now, adventuring around such a big and brilliant city, anything could happen! Anyone could be around - but on this occasion, this someone wasn't an anyone. Before returning back to Victoria Station, readying myself to return home, be made a little spontaneous stop at Oxford Circus for a wander down Oxford Street, and I had one place in mind.
Lush.
Ah, the sweet smelling store of love and happiness. But, it wasn't just the colourful products we were happy about. It must have been a touch of fate, the luck of an adventurer. Wandering around Lush we found, tucked away in a corner of the store doing her duty to serve the people of London some lovely Lush products, was Rebecca - or as she's more well known beckie0.
Taking a few minutes out of her busy schedule, Rebecca dedicated her time to making us feel so appreciated and I can honestly say she is one of the most loveliest people I have ever met. She appeared to radiate with happiness. She's motivated me in so many way, and meeting her possibly made my day so much more brighter.
