Things To Know, Before You Go: Packing For Disneyland
I'm sure - if any of you reading this are like me - when it comes to packing, you need Mary Poppins enchanted bag to fit all your clothing and trinkets in. And I bet, similarly to the cook in The Emperor's New Groove, you'll pack everything right down to the pots and pans!
As I am also prone to packing all but the kitchen sink, I have pulled together some tips and advice and the top ten things to pack for your adventure to the place where dreams come true: Disneyland Paris.
Now this second item is very important. As you never know what a shoe is like, until you've ran down a flight of stairs and lost one of them on the way, it's important to pack a packet of plasters. Sadly, lots of walking and new shoes can lead to blisters which are simply dreadful - so by packing a packet of plasters, you are ready to take on the beasts!
Now, this next item you will definitely need. A good and sturdy, water bottle. Now this water bottle will fuel you with energy and hydration so you can run about the Disney parks and enjoy everything to the max without feeling run down and under attack to those pesky head aches! Disney being, well, Disney is very good at taking our money. Prices of bottled water in the parks is going to be dreadful, so I suggest buying yourself a decent water bottle and refilling it at water fountains which are dotted around the park.
Water is a brilliant way to stop those pesky headaches from spoiling your fun, but sometimes your body will need an extra boost to feel better. As someone who is prone to getting headaches in hot, summery weather, I can tell you that the best thing to have with you in your park bag is some travel paracetamol. Me being a fussy human, I can't take tablet paracetamol, so I always keep little sachets of liquid paracetamol with me at all time. Paracetamol can be bought at your local drug store.
If you're a stereotypical British human like me, there's something you need to know before you go to Disneyland Paris... Unless you request them, you won't be getting any tea making facilities. BUT if you head over to the reception of your hotel, you can request a kettle and so all you'll need to do is buy yourself a mug and tea bags and you're ready to go! You can buy mugs at the park, however I recommend bringing some tea bags from home, because again, it'll be cheaper at home.
The most dreadful thing to happen is to fall ill when on holiday. Sadly, you're going to be prone to bugs and nasty things, due to the fact that there's going to be hundreds, upon thousands of people around you who are going to have a various load of things! Now, a simple way to help keep your health in check? Hand sanitiser, you can get this handy little cleaner almost anywhere (best to check in your local drug store) and it shall kill any bugs that may be lurking in your paws!
You're going to need lots of energy if you intend to be running around the parks and experiencing Disney to it's full potential! To fuel this energy you're going to need some snacks. I recommend bringing some from home, as I've said previously in regards to tea making facilities and bottled water, the cost of food is going to be high. Bringing a few little snacks from home will help reduce your overall cost!I will be taking a packet of Nakd bars as they're full of energy and compact to carry around!

I hope these little tips come in handy for your adventure to Disneyland (whether it be anywhere in the world!), please let me know if they've come in handy and whether you're adventuring off to the land of Disney as soon as me! Also if you have any tips or tricks, I'd love to hear them!
As of today it is twenty-three days until myself and Serenna head to Disneyland Paris. Until next time: have courage and be kind.

My first top tip to take to Disneyland Paris is shoes. But not just any shoes, comfortable shoes. You need them to be as comfortable as Cinderella's glass slippers, but perhaps less of a heel and more likely to stay on your feet as you shall be doing a lot of walking. Disneyland Paris covers over 4,800 acres, and you're going to find yourself walking back and forth a lot, so comfortable walking shoes are a must!

If you're like me and you sweat like a snowman in summer, these Frozen themed wet wipes will come in handy. For only £1 in Poundland, these wet wipes will clear away any sticky situations you find yourself in.

One of the many ways to keep the cost of your holiday down, is to do what myself and Serenna are doing: travelling by coach to Disneyland Paris. Yes, that is a six hour coach journey from England to France, but it'll be worth it! Now, to keep the boredom down, what I've done is bought two Disney themed colouring books from Poundland for myself and Serenna to do on the way!
Ah, memories that'll last a lifetime! Or at least they will if you have a camera. Serenna will possibly murder me for this, but the photo of the little Princess on the left is little five year old Serenna dressed as Aurora (Sleeping Beauty). Similarly, the photo on the right shows twelve year old Ellen at Disneyland's 15th Anniversary. These photos were taken back before technology was in able reach of everyone, so they were taken with disposable camera which I urge you to take.
A little tale of my adventure to Amsterdam in February 2015... I took with me, my phone (which had a dreadful camera), my digital canon camera, and a disposable kodak camera. Which got the most photos? The disposable kodak camera - all because my digital camera malfunctioned when we got there. So here's an IMPORTANT tip: if your taking a camera, make sure it works, and bring a disposable one!
(The photo above, I took it in Amsterdam with my disposable camera!)
ALSO: now, I shall be trying this out when I venture to Disneyland, but there is a scheme where if you pay €50 you can get digital copies of all professional photos taken at the parks, these range from character meets to rides! (I'll let you know what I think!) It's called DisneyPhotoPass+
