Disney World Bucketlist CEP 2018

Well, hi-hey-hello there friends, it's ya girl Ellen here and you guessed it, we're gonna be talking about Disney today! 

✨ Lots of Disney! ✨

In just over one hundred days, one-hundred and twenty-one to be precise, I'll be moving to Florida, USA to begin my dream of working for the mouse! I'll be working in Operations & Attractions in one of the various Disney parks for eight weeks over summer, and I'M SO EXCITED!

Four months yesterday, I will fly to Florida. Four months today, I'll be moving into Disney Housing. Four months tomorrow, I'll officially become a Walt Disney World Cast Member.

I've never been to Disney World, or even the USA, in my life, so this is going to be such an emotional experience for me. Of course, I will be documenting it on here and on my YouTube channel, however, as I'm counting down the days, I thought I'd do a little Disney World Bucketlist! 


So without further ado, let's jump right in...


✨ General ✨

1. Watch ALL the Parades (maybe even work a parade shift if I can!); I love the parades, so so so much, fireworks too, but I love the music, character engagement, and seeing everyone so happy together, so I want to see all of them. 
2. Get a 'First Time' badge for EVERY PARK! This is your girls FIRST TIME in Florida so you better believe it I'm doing this right.
3. Take a photo of my Cast Member badge in front of Cinderella's Castle, because did you even become a Cast Member if you didn't get this photo!
4. Complete the '4 Parks in 1 Day Challenge' and VLOG it all! (Who's joining me?!)


✨ Magic Kingdom ✨

1. See the early morning Welcome Show! Start the day right, AM I RIGHT?! And what a better way than crying my eyes out in front of Cinderella's Castle.
2. Eat at Be Our Guest. Okay, so this will happen many, MANY times. And of course, try the grey stuff, I hear it's delicious!
3. Now this one might sound silly, but as an avid Tangled fan, I really, REALLY, want to do a Rapunzel Disneybound and have a lil photo shoot in the Tangled Toilet section... Not to mention find all the hidden Pascals!


✨ EPCOT ✨

1. DRINK AROUND THE WOOOORLD! Who's gonna be my drinking buddy? Applications below, just throw ya girl a comment! But seriously, did I even go to EPCOT if I didn't Drink Around the World? And ya girl will be legal in America so its okay to get tipsy!!!
2. Go visit my UK friends in the UK Pavillion and order some Fish and Chips, because let's face it, I'm gonna miss British culture!3. I'm so excited to finally have the chance to ride, the magical, Frozen Ever After ride in the Norway Pavillion, and even meet the Princess and Queen themselves!



✨ Animal Kingdom ✨


1. Starting with an easy one, but ride Expedition Everest to my heart's content.
2. Okay so for this next one to happen appropriately, I'll need to actually watch the film first... Shh, you didn't hear that... But I want to visit the highly described, Pandora; The World of Avatar! No matter the wait queues!
3. Finally, I feel like this is a necessity, similar to the fireworks and parades, but I would love to see Tree of Life Awakening and Rivers of Light show!



✨ Hollywood Studios ✨

1. Ride Tower of Terror so many times that I have a portfolio of photos such as screaming, sleeping, peace out, etc. 
2. I'm very lucky to be a Cast Member when the BRAND NEW Toy Story Land opens in Hollywood Studios on June 30th, so either work the grand opening or attend the grand opening, either way, GO TO TOY STORY LAND!!!
3. Go see the Indiana Jones show and volunteer to take part! Always saw myself in that hat!



✨ Resorts ✨


1. Get dinner at Hoop-De-Doo Revue!
2. Get character breakfast from Disney's Polynesian Resort - Eeek! Can't wait to get photos with Stitch!
3. Have at least one Staycation at one of the hotels!



And that's it! Might have just been easier if I wrote; EVERYTHING! and left it at that, but where's the fun!

Seriously though, being a first-timer, I am planning on doing everything there is to do, and seeing everything there is to see, and you better believe I'm taking all of you on for the ride!

Disney CEP Pre-Screen Advice | Interview No.1

Well, hi-hey-hello there friends, it's another sunny Saturday and I'm here yet again to sprinkle some Disney magic into your day!  Now, I am assuming you're here because similarly to my previous posts, you wanna work at Disney World, correct? Within this blog post, I'll be telling you my tales of attending two different Pre-Screen Interviews; being rejected and accepted.  We're gonna travel back in time to September 2016, my first Pre-Screen interview.  I was invited to my first pre-screen on the Tuesday 27th September 2016. 'The Black Pearl' Candle by Maple & Whisky

"Yo ho, yo ho - a pirates life for me..." Ever since I was little, my favourite ride has always been the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disneyland Paris. I've been obsessed with the franchise since I was about nine, when I was given all the films for Christmas.  When I heard a Etsy shop by the name of Maple and Whisky were creating Disney-inspired candles, I jumped at the chance to purchase one.  And so I did! I decided to treat myself to their newest candle, The Black Pearl . As pictured above, I bought myself the smaller addition in the 8oz jar (larger being 12oz) for only £8.30. All candles are handmade to order, and the company gives you the option of two different wicks and waxes.  I got mine custom made with a woodwick and a paraffin soy blend wax.
