2018 Cosplay Reveal: PART ONE!

Well, hi-hey-hello there friends.

As I'm sure you're all aware by now, I am a big dork. Admittedly so, I love books, films, television shows, occasional video game, and most of all, the art of make-believe. 

 Over the past couple of years, I've tried my hand at Cosplay, which for those of you new to the term, is essentially a more serious form of dress up.

They were never perfect, many broke the day of certain conventions, however, in the past I've cosplayed as Aurora from Disney's Sleeping Beauty, Sailor Snow as a mash-up from Sailor Moon (my fave anime) and the Disney princess Snow White, as well as Belle from Disney's Beauty and the Beast... You see a trend here?

If you saw my latest YouTube video, you'll know that I have chosen the cosplay I hope to work on this year, and without further ado, I can announce, it is...

Clary Fray
from Cassandra Clare's Shadowhunter Chronicles!


The Shadowhunter Chronicles follows a young girl called Clary Fray as her life is turned upside down and she calls upon protectors of the human world - Shadowhunters - to help find her mom. 

I recently finished the first book in the series, City of Bones, and I have fallen in love with the series!


I will be basing my cosplay on the Netflix adaptation and the film adaptation of Clary Fray (as seen above and below) Her look is very basic, in style with the Shadowhunter look, all in black and leather jackets, so that should be quite easy! 

What I'm looking forward to is focusing on perfecting her wavy long auburn hair, make-up and obviously her rune tattoos. 


I am hoping to be channeling my inner Clary Fray at the October MCM London Comic Con, which gives me a good eight months to prepare! I'm hoping to do another cosplay as well, however, that will be revealed later in the year...

Disney CEP Pre-Screen Advice | Interview No.1

Well, hi-hey-hello there friends, it's another sunny Saturday and I'm here yet again to sprinkle some Disney magic into your day!  Now, I am assuming you're here because similarly to my previous posts, you wanna work at Disney World, correct? Within this blog post, I'll be telling you my tales of attending two different Pre-Screen Interviews; being rejected and accepted.  We're gonna travel back in time to September 2016, my first Pre-Screen interview.  I was invited to my first pre-screen on the Tuesday 27th September 2016. 'The Black Pearl' Candle by Maple & Whisky

"Yo ho, yo ho - a pirates life for me..." Ever since I was little, my favourite ride has always been the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disneyland Paris. I've been obsessed with the franchise since I was about nine, when I was given all the films for Christmas.  When I heard a Etsy shop by the name of Maple and Whisky were creating Disney-inspired candles, I jumped at the chance to purchase one.  And so I did! I decided to treat myself to their newest candle, The Black Pearl . As pictured above, I bought myself the smaller addition in the 8oz jar (larger being 12oz) for only £8.30. All candles are handmade to order, and the company gives you the option of two different wicks and waxes.  I got mine custom made with a woodwick and a paraffin soy blend wax.
