Reflection on 365 Days of 2017

If you're reading this, hello. This blog has seen a fine layer of dust as of recent, but thanks to you, we're polishing off the typewriter.

2017 is coming to an end and with 2018 just around the corner, I thought it'd be most suitable to start the year as we wish to go on. Creativity. Well...more about writing blog posts and diary entries.

Shall we start from the beginning?

The start of the year began as I expected, negatively though optimistic. Returning for my second term of second year, I knew the end was in sight. My troubles with my flat mates had progressed, not very well as I left the house with a broken mug - it was a Disney one as well! - but I learnt to stand up for myself. Fast forward nine months, I moved on campus, now living with seven other lovely ladies - none of which have broken my mugs...

As I mentioned, I was hoping to obtain a part-time job and I did! I ended up working in a local theme park which gave me so many skills and also allowed me to afford super things that came next...

What came next?
Adventures.

2017 was the year of travel. Mostly travelling to and from work and then university... BUT - this was the year I flew the most, flying to Paris, Amsterdam and even Belfast! Of course with all these adventures came Disneyland, museums and castles, sight-seeing, and a Minecraft convention...?

As of right now, I have four months left of university, I'll be returning to campus on 15th January and until then I intend to relax. I'm still on the job hunt even from my pyjamas - hoping to get some hours in the New Year so I can put money towards my next big adventure.

Walt Disney World

Now I'm sure if you've been following me on Twitter, Instagram or even YouTube - you'll have heard this news before. On 7th December I got a little email from a certain company. I will be flying out in June 2018 to live and work in Florida at Walt Disney World.

Yep. You heard me. Disney.

2017 might have started a bit chaotic and, well, sad - but it'll be finishing better than I ever could have imagined. The past year has flown by - crazy to think I couldn't wait for it to end. With that said, roll on 2018!

You can expect another blog post in the next week with all my New Years Resolutions for 2018 - until then, catch you all later.
