December Favourites 2016

Hello there my little dreamers!

I hope you're all doing well! The new year is upon us, and I'm super excited to kick start it with some blog posts. If you've been following me recently, you'll know I've been blogging a lot more recently. My New Year's Resolution blog went up last week, so if you're interested in finding out what it had in store, take a look!

But for now, I thought I'd tell you all about my favourite bits and pieces from December 2016.

Favourite Moment: Ice Skating Double Date
Why?
Difficult choice for this one, as so many amazing thing have happened this month. It's been my birthday, it's been Christmas. But one thing, that embody's the entire season and is something I love, was ice skating with my boyfriend on a double date. I hadn't been ice skating in years, and it was so fun to be back on the ice.

(However, having a special birthday message from Jedward is a close second!)
Favourite Tea: Ginger and Lemon Tea
Why?
Finally back in my home-home in Wiltshire, I was consistently offered tea. Bit of a British thing to always offer tea, but in my house, if you stand up you'll be likely to pop the kettle on. My mum had this Ginger and Lemon tea, and with a spoonful of sugar, my gosh. It tastes like ginger beer, and has the same warmth and spice that it has.
Favourite Lush Product (Skin Care): Brazened Honey
Why?
I answer this question without hesitation. If you've read my Lush Products of 2016 blog post, you'll know my love for this face mask. I'm using it every other day to exfoliate and soften my skin. So smooth!



Favourite Lush Product (Shower/Hair): Twilight Shower Gel
Why?
Again, if you've read my Lush Products of 2016, you'll recognise this one too! A Christmas exclusive at Oxford Street, and my does it smell glorious. As I'm more of a shower girl, than a bath girl, I fell in love with this. Has the same sultry sweet smell as the bath bomb, but in a neat little bottle.


Favourite TV Show: Gray's Anatomy
Why?
Never been one for gore and hospital shows where people die every episode, but I'm so invested in this series. It all started when I came home for Christmas and my mum was finishing the show. Of course, we've now started at the beginning again, and we deal with the gore and death with some Once Upon A Time (which I've introduce my mum too!).
Favourite Snack: Sweet Potato Fries
Why?
2016 is the year that I fell in love with sweet potato. Adding a bit of spice, some lovely paprika and cumin, and we're good to go! They're super filling, and I just love them!
Favourite Music: You're Welcome by Dwain Johnson in Moana
Why?
If you follow me on Twitter, it won't be a surprise when I say I cried through out the whole of Moana. The song You're Welcome is just so upbeat and friendly. It makes me so happy and joyful.
Favourite Item of Clothes: Wooly Jumpers
Why?
I don't know what it is, but I'm in love with big wooly jumpers. Could be the fact it's cold outside, or the fact I was given six for Christmas... But I just find myself snuggled up in a wooly jumper, my favourite at the moment is this mustard yellow one!
And that's it for the month of Christmas, oh but one or two last favourites...

Favourite Christmas Song: Jingle Bell Rock
Why?
Have you seen Mean Girls?! Also it's just a nicely upbeat and jazzy song! 

Favourite Present Received: Either tickets to Cinderella Panto, or MASSIVE Moana Tsum
Why?
I have been to a pantomime in ages, and when my mum told me I was going to be doing something on the 30th, the wires in my head started clicking and I realised it had to be... So when I opened it, I was so excited! And, MASSIVE Moana Tsum Tsum from my dear boyfriend, because, Moana. 

Favourite Present Given: Overwatch T-Shirt to Boyfriend
Why?
I thought long and hard what to get him. I wanted to get him something he'd love and I thought, why not a t-shirt of his favourite game in the style he loves? And he did love it, he wasn't expecting it at all, and for that it's my favourite.

Well, hi-hey-hello there friends, it's another sunny Saturday and I'm here yet again to sprinkle some Disney magic into your day!  Now, I am assuming you're here because similarly to my previous posts, you wanna work at Disney World, correct? Well, you are in the right place! Within this blog post, I'll be telling you my tales of attending two different Pre-Screen Interviews; being rejected and accepted.  We're gonna travel back in time to September 2016, my first Pre-Screen interview.  I was invited to my first pre-screen on the Tuesday 27th September 2016. The event takes place in Epping, in Essex though you can travel there on the Central Line from London. It comprised of a presentation, then a group interview. 'The Black Pearl' Candle by Maple & Whisky

"Yo ho, yo ho - a pirates life for me..." Ever since I was little, my favourite ride has always been the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disneyland Paris. I've been obsessed with the franchise since I was about nine, when I was given all the films for Christmas.  When I heard a Etsy shop by the name of Maple and Whisky were creating Disney-inspired candles, I jumped at the chance to purchase one.  And so I did! I decided to treat myself to their newest candle, The Black Pearl . As pictured above, I bought myself the smaller addition in the 8oz jar (larger being 12oz) for only £8.30. All candles are handmade to order, and the company gives you the option of two different wicks and waxes.  I got mine custom made with a woodwick and a paraffin soy blend wax.
